Judge rules Guilford Co. commissioner races can move forward
A federal judge made a ruling in the Guilford County redistricting case. Judge Williams Osteen lifted an injunction and said voters in newly-drawn Districts 4,5,6 and 8 will elected new county commissioners this election cycle. Voters in the newly-drawn District 7 will wait until 2014 to elect their commissioner. That is different from the law passed by the General Assembly, which Osteen ruled as unconstitutional....
